Announcement Regarding Director at GSCC

Dear Families of Good Shepherd Children’s Center;

We want to share some important news regarding a significant leadership change within our organization. After seven years of dedicated service, our current Director, Marianne Krawiec, has elected to retire. While we will greatly miss her guidance and vision, we are excited to announce that Mariane Mouras will be stepping into the role of Director, effective May 12, 2025.

Mariane brings many years of experience to our school.  She has an extensive management background and teaching experience in previous schools.  She has been with Good Shepherd for the past 6 years, serving in many positions, including Lead Teacher for pre K 3 and Head Teacher.  As Head teacher, she has had an opportunity to mentor other teachers.  Her deep understanding of our school, along with her innovative approach to leadership, makes her the ideal candidate to lead Good Shepherd into the next phase of its growth.

We want to recognize Miss Marianne, our current Director, for her accomplishments in the past seven years.  Marianne consistently fostered innovation, built strong relationships with our team members, and brought the school forward in technology and processes.

Some of her accomplishments are the growth of the Children’s Center and aligning the school with the church’s Mission statement.  In 2020, she kept the school open and served the community during COVID with two kindergarten classes and a remote learning center for parents working remotely while their children were taught.

She oversaw projects to install security cameras throughout the school and church property, secure the doors with a key card system, install a new phone system, and install clean technology HVAC to improve the school’s indoor air quality and reduce germs, bacteria, allergens, and viruses.  She recently brought the 5-Star Registration System into the school to reduce paperwork.  Last year, she acquired a state grant to install sprinklers in the school, which will allow, hopefully soon, the school to take infants and toddlers.  This is something that the community has been asking for for many years.  All this while loving and nurturing your children and ensuring her staff did the same.

Miss Marianne will continue to work through the leadership transition with Miss Mariane. We are confident that the quality and service you are accustomed to will continue, and the transition will be seamless.

If you have any questions or concerns about this transition, please don’t hesitate to reach out to either Miss Mariane.

Thank you for your continued commitment to Good Shepherd Children’s Center. We look forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

Sincerely,

The Administration  Board of Good Shepherd
